Riding in a hot air balloon is a one-in-a-lifetime experience that you should do at least once. You'll be amazed at how quiet and peaceful it is as you float gently on the breeze, without a care in the world. There is no better way to see the beauty of Thailand than by a gentle free-floating balloon flight over the mysterious countryside.

ITINERARY:

Balloon flights take place in the early morning before the earth heats up. Flights will take approximately one hour and you will gently rejoin the world of earthbound beings over a glass of champagne. You will also receive a flight certificate from the pilot.

Balloon flights take place in the very early morning before the earth heats up. The time of meeting varies according to the time of year, but will usually be about one hour before sunrise at the office.

Passengers will be informed about the meeting time on confirmation of the booking. It is essential to be punctual. Passengers can enjoy a cup of coffee while the balloon is being inflated or are welcome to help the crew with the inflation under the pilot's supervision if they would like to.

With the first rays of sunlight the balloon will lift up from the ground, gracefully and slowly. Moving along at wind speed the balloon is part of the climate of the day. The view of things earthbound is surprisingly detailed. There is no better way to see the beauty of Thailand than by a gentle free-floating balloon flight over the mysterious countryside. Flying over the wide plains of the Ping River Valley we can enjoy the breathtaking panorama view of mountains and terraced rice paddies. The many beautiful temples are also typical for the Chiang Mai area. The view of the earth and the sky is one which can be experienced in no other way.

After a beautiful flight of approximately one hour, we will land wherever the wind will bring us. We will enjoy a champagne style breakfast served at the landing site.

The complete adventurous experience will take about 4 hours.

In windy or otherwise marginal conditions the pilot will postpone or cancel the flight. Safety is always the prime consideration, but generally Thailand can boast ideal ballooning weather and flights seldom need to be cancelled.
