Pick up at your hotel in Phuket and
transfer to Chalong. Travel by four wheel drive Land
Rover to Siam Safari elephant camp on Chalong Highlands.
Elephant trek in the hills with superb views over the
island for about 30 minutes also learn all about elephants
and Siam Safari's elephant conservation project. Meet
some young elephants, see how they are trained, you
can touch them and feed them. Nature canoe along a river
in the mangroves and out into Chalong Bay, life jackets
are provided, a support boat is close by. Jeep Safari
into Chalong Highlands. See good views over Phuket.
Watch a demonstration of how to make Thai jungle curry
at a local house. At a rubber plantation see how natural
rubber is produced. See how monkeys are trained to pick
coconuts and watch them in action. Try a ride on a traditional
cart pulled by buffalo. End the tour with either a delicious
buffet lunch or dinner, a selection of Thai dishes cooked
not too spicy. Return transfer to hotels after an active,
educational and enjoyable safari trip.
